This Privacy Policy describes how CIFR Solutions ("CIFR," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our AI-assisted case report generation service for law enforcement agencies.
Information We Collect
We collect information that participating agencies and authorized users submit through the secure upload portal, including audio/video case files, case identifiers (badge numbers), and officer contact information used for report delivery. We also maintain billing records associated with each agency account.
How We Use Information
- To transcribe and analyze submitted recordings using AI processing and generate structured case reports.
- To deliver completed reports to the authorized requesting officer via email.
- To maintain billing records associated with an agency's account.
- To maintain and improve the security and reliability of our service.
AI Processing
Submitted audio and video files are processed using automated speech recognition and AI language models to produce transcriptions and structured reports. This processing occurs locally on CIFR-controlled infrastructure and is not shared with third-party AI providers.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services in the operation of our platform:
- Cloudflare R2 — encrypted cloud storage for uploaded files and generated reports.
- Resend — transactional email delivery of completed reports to officers.
These services are used solely for the operational purposes described above. We do not sell, rent, or share submitted content or personal information with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.
Data Retention & Security
Uploaded files and generated reports are stored using encrypted, access-controlled infrastructure and handled in accordance with each agency's retention agreement. Temporary processing files are removed on a scheduled basis. Completed reports are accessible via time-limited secure download links delivered to the requesting officer.
